Season 5; Emmy-Worthy

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

And it's about damn time.

For those who didn't see it, 24 finally picked up the Emmy for Outstanding Drama and Kiefer landed Best Actor in a Drama against some tough competition. I must say, I was thrilled 24 finally got this kind of positive response from the industry. It was almost as pleasing as the fact that dreck like Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, and Lost all came up empty.

I agree!! It's about time . . . were the Emmy Voters too afraid to commit for so long?? Oh well, it's REALLY great to see this happen after so long. I remember during Days II & III where I died to see the show get an Emmy, that way I knew it had a better chance to survive (remember when the ratings were doubtful??)!

Oh and look! Practically everyone showed up! Including the long-missing Curtis, the deceased Tony, Edgar, and David Palmer!!

Not to mention the about to be impaeached President Logan . . . can you beleive it?? I thought his and Jean Smart (Mrs. Logan) were shoe-ins for the Supporting roles! What happened??

Question: Did Glenn Morshower show up?

I did see Chloe!

Glad to see Kief finally get his due, though I really thought Mr. Itzin deserved recognition. And in a blast from the past, I saw Elisha Cuthbert on "Jimmy Kimmel" last night plugging her self-produced dreck called "The Quiet." She was talking like she could still be "called up" for an appearance on '24.' The funny thing was that Jimmy was much more interested in '24' than her new movie, which has gotten abysmal reviews.

D: the same happens with Leslie Hope,I still have dreams about having a cameo of Jack in Commander in Chief, who passes by to say hello to his wife

I'm very happy with everything this Emmy Awards brought to 24,yet I am unpleased with what happened to Gregory Itzin: just looking at the guy again sent a chill down my spine, what a ripoff to leave him out of prizes. And now, let's prove all the schadenfreuders out there that 24 has not jumped the sharl and all that Season 6 needs to rock aloud is more good writing and less Bruce Willis scenarios.
