President Palmer, I Presume

According to this article, we'll be meeting more of the Palmer family during Day 6 of 24. Regina King will play Angela Palmer, sister of the brothers Palmer. Oh, and hey, remember when I suggested Wayne would be great as the next President in 24-land? According to this article, that's the plan for Day 6.

So, class, when Uncle J speaks, I expect you all to pay attention. (Please excuse my self-back-patting -- it's just that I'm not right about much.)

Thanks to D for spotting this article -- he's always been far better than me at catching this stuff.

Wayne Palmer would be GREAT as President (I hope). Let's just hope that if he does get married (hope not), then he doesn't marry a physco like Sherry . . .

Angela Palmer seems intriging as well . . . an advocacy Lawyer, I'm told. Sheesh, were their parents both lawyers or judges or something? They ALL went into Politcs!

With Wayne in the oval office, Aaron's a near definite confirmation . . .

My next hope is that Heller becomes VP . . . gotta have a reason for him to stay alive, no?

It's great to hear D's still participating when he can! Hi D!

Thanks J for another confirmation. I've been hearing rumors, but this settles my mind somewhat!

I can't picture Wayne in the role of the prez,he's too young and plain as a character. I was expecting the father of Laura Palmer to be. But,Peter Mc Nicol is perfect for the part of the seasonal picky CTU boss who has yet to trust Jack. Who knows if Miles will show up as the pizza delivery boy,now

Laura Palmer? Who's that?

Anyways, Miles as a pizza boy WOULD be hilarious. Of course, Chloe shooting Miels with an AK-47 would be hilarious as well . . .

Wayne's got potential. That's why he seems so "young," I guess. But there's greatness in him. Let's just hope he uses it for good!

The actor cast as vice-president Hal Gardner once played a major role in Twin Peaks (Laura Palmer's father). He was all about making restrained faces covering unimaginable underlying evil. That's why I like Gardner,he's still doing those

Thing is, Hal Gardner IS considered President of the 24-Universe BETWEEN seasons. I don't know why they decided to skip his year of office (that was all that was left after Keeler & Logan did their bits between the elections), but maybe because they wanted to give fans a decent President again (though last time we had one, they either shot him out of the sky or killed him after his term).

Oh well. Thanks for letting me know, though!

What I would really like to know from the 24 world is: what's in the bag that Jack carries around? In the first season, the icon was that of Jack and his cellphone. Now it's Jack and the bag.

If you haven't heard yet, they've changed their mind and THEY ARE making a Day VI Prequel. Hey, more for us!

I was dissatisfied with the way they handed Jack's return from exile in Day 5: I remember about posting some hypothesis about the way the writers could handle his new "dead man" status, but in the end they pratically ignore it and went back to default in a few hours. Please o 24 Gods, don't make him escape in the prequel and play next season as nothing happened!

Funny note: the Day 5 prequel contained the craziest suspension-of-belief moment in 24 history - a Toyota leaving behind a BMW!

They say Jack is going to be the shell of a man in S6 and that only something very intense is going to rejuvenate the will to fight of the character. If they put things like that,I think it could mean he is going to get a nephew from his daughter.
